Subtle Rainbow Elma Ruth

I love a classic quilt pattern. And I really love putting a personal twist on a classic pattern. The Elma Ruth quilt pattern (found in my shop) already has T H R E E options to it, and I *still* had to take it for another spin. It might have turned into my very favorite version.

Last fall I created this subtle rainbow Elma Ruth that was a bit of the rainbow version and a bit of the classic. If you have the pattern, you can follow the direction for the classic version but swap out the C1 color for 6 different colors.

For this version, I used Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids in Sweet Macadamia, Miami Sunset, Crystal Blue, Spruce, Moss, and Honey for the diagonals and a Rifle Paper Co painted gingham for the triangles. The quilting is a beautiful clamshell finished by Debbie of Sweet Little Quilts

I keep thinking it's time to make another one of these. But this time maybe with some new Ruby Star Society Starry fabrics? Or Add it Up? Like these...

Or the Tarrytown line? Or Stay Gold??

So many options! Ok, if you don't already have the Elma Ruth pattern, you can find it here
